Install the mobile app

The Flutter Capture App hashes every photo on-device, signs it with an Ed25519 device key and keeps the proof in a local ledger. Photos stay on your device — only proof metadata is anchored.

Android · beta build

Beta release build of the Kist Capture App (version 1.0.0+2), built with `flutter build apk --release` and signed for local beta testing rather than Google Play distribution. Installs on Android 6.0 and newer. Hashes and signatures are created on the device; anchoring happens only after an API key and active access are configured.

Beta build, not a store release

It is a `flutter build apk --release` beta APK signed for local testing rather than Google Play distribution. It is not a store release, so Android will ask you to allow installation from your browser.

iOS · build from source

There is no published iOS binary yet. Kist for iOS is built from the same Flutter project and needs macOS, Xcode and Apple signing credentials, which the project does not have configured.

1 · Kist CLI

The command-line tool for logging in, listing devices, verifying proofs, reading credits and usage. It installs from the public repository during beta — the npm package is not published yet, so the page does not pretend otherwise.

2 · JavaScript SDK

A TypeScript client for Node, Workers, Deno and Bun that mirrors the API and surfaces real HTTP statuses and backend error codes.

The Android build is a beta release build hosted on this site — check the SHA-256 above before installing. The iOS app is built from source at the moment. The CLI and SDK are installed from the public repository because the npm packages are not published yet. Hosted API access is metered and approved manually during beta — see pricing and the Capture App guide.
